Location. The Morrison House A Kimpton Hotel is located in historic Old Town Alexandria, Va., amid 200 year old brick row houses along cobblestone streets. The Alexandria Archaeology Museum is one half mile from the hotel. The White House and the National Mall are six miles away.
Hotel Features. The Morrison House A Kimpton Hotel is decorated with silk wallpaper, Italian marble floors and period engravings. Sommeliers are available to select wines for meals at the on site Elysium Dining Room. Chefs speak with each guest about available ingredients and create original meals as the Elysium does not have a menu. The hotel also houses the Grille, serving steak and seafood. Lit artwork hangs on the eatery's walls. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, live music is provided at the Grille's piano.
