Location. The Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel in Gettysburg, Pa., was built in 2006. It is one mile from Historic Downtown Gettysburg and Gettysburg National Battlefield Park, and eight miles from Boyd's Bear Country.
Hotel Features. The Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel features a 100 acre shopping, dining, and entertainment complex on site including a Gateway Theaters 8, a restaurant and lounge. The hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access. An indoor pool and spa tub, and cardiovascular and strength training fitness equipment are featured by the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel. The property's ballroom features a grand chandelier and can occupy 600 guests. Outdoor activities like hiking trails are within one half mile.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms are accessed through internal corridors and provide pillow top mattresses, down bedding and 300 thread count linens. The guestrooms also feature complimentary high speed Internet access and cable television. In room safes are standard room amenities. Guest bathrooms include glass shower walls and black granite counter tops.
Expert Tip. The Gateway Theater 8 is home to the two largest digital movie screens in the United States standing at 65 feet high. Also, not only does the Gateway play the latest releases, but a locally made movie depicting the Battle of Gettysburg in high definition digital.
