Location. The Westin Great Southern Columbus is located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, three blocks from the banks of the Scioto River. The historic Southern Theatre is adjacent to the hotel. The property is within one mile of the Greater Columbus Convention Center and Franklin University. The Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Gardens are less than three miles away.

The hotel's Theatre Caf� offers a traditional breakfast buffet each morning and fusion cuisine in the evenings. Thurber's Bar serves tapas and spirits in a contemporary setting. The hotel's lobby is in a three story atrium with Corinthian columns, a vaulted ceiling and floral arrangements. Popular for weddings, the hotel's ballroom features ornate stained glass windows.
