Nestled in the foothills of the Western Carolina Mountains, Pine Mountain Resort is a year round resort, where the pristine country air is matched only by the area's scenic beauty. Conveniently located between Morganton and Shelby, North Carolina, Pine Mountain Resort is adjacent to South Mountains State Park, which offers visitors great hiking, horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, and guided nature walks. It is also adjacent to a beautiful 18 hole public, executive golf course (designed by Paul Melard) that is open year round.
We offer our guests many additional activities, including swimming, tennis and story times for the children. But we find that many of our guests simply enjoy taking in the scenery and fresh mountain air. Our spacious rooms all have free cable TV with HBO, and rooms with kitchenettes are available. In addition to our guests receive a complimentary continental breakfast. We also offer our guests discount golf and dining packages. Pine Mountain Resort is a splendid choice for that special getaway weekend, family or class reunion, business conference or retreat.

Go 2.8 Miles (Follow PMR sign)
Turn Right onto Wards Gap Rd.
Go 1.5 Miles and turn Right into Pine Mountain Estates.

Exit North on Hwy. 321
Take Hwy 27 West to Hwy. 18
