Location. Sitting on 88 acres of forest preserve, the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook is located in Oak Brook, Ill., adjacent to McDonald's Corporate Headquarters and two miles from Oak Brook Golf Club. The hotel offers scheduled complimentary shuttle services within five miles including the Oak Brook Shopping Center.
Hotel Features. Overlooking the hotel's lake, the Piazza Restaurant serves Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner. The Hearth Lounge features lake views and fireside seating. Event space includes 17,000 square feet of banquet and meeting rooms. Most meeting rooms offer floor to ceiling windows. Recreational amenities include a 70 foot heated indoor heated lap pool and a sand volleyball court. The Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook provides complimentary use of bicycles. The Health Scape Fitness Center offers fitness equipment, aerobics classes, personal training and massage therapy. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided throughout the hotel.
Guestrooms. The hotel's 217 guestrooms feature the Hyatt's Grand Bed, made up of down duvets, 250 thread count triple sheeting, an array of European roll and throw pillows, and pillowtop mattresses. Bathrooms offer granite baths, double sinks and Portico toiletries. Rooms contain windows that open and private balconies or patios with forest, lake or campus views. In room safes are provided. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee.
Expert Tip. The Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook is connected by a walkway to Hamburger University, a school for restaurant management and operations. The Hamburger University offers two levels of meeting space and event catering including a 300 seat auditorium.
Renovation Notice:
The hotel is scheduled to undergo renovations to its guestrooms beginning December 16, 2007. Construction work will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. There may be noise disturbance. The estimated completion date is February 29, 2008. These dates are subject to change.
