Location. Surrounded by private vineyards and wineries on eight rolling acres, just three miles from the Wine Train and Chardonnay Golf Course, is the Meritage Resort at Napa in Napa, Calif. Downtown Napa is four miles away and Yountville is 14 miles from the property.

Hotel Features. Siena presents an exhibition kitchen, weekend brunches and alfresco and caf� style dining. Menu items include Chilled Hog Island Oysters, Juniper Cured Salmon Gravlax with Osetra Caviar, Grilled Vegetable Napoleon and Spit Roasted Loin of Clark Summit Farms Pork with Roasted Figs. Signature drinks and 250 California wines are offered at The Meritage Wine Bar. Appetizers are available and mornings feature assorted breakfast breads. Conference rooms, a business center and wireless Internet access are provided for a fee. Opening in early 2007 and uniquely positioned in an underground cave are the grottos, mud baths, underground pools and private and couples treatment rooms of Spa Terra, the first ever underground spa. Weddings can be held at the property's Our Lady of the Grapes Chapel, which boasts beamed and lofted ceilings, muted lighting and seating for up to 60 guests. Located beneath Napa Valley's renowned Grape Crusher statue is The Estate Wine Cave, offering a wine tasting area and retail section stocked with Napa area wines. Reservations for private events are available. The Meritage Resort at Napa features outdoor pools and spa tubs, a fitness center, a fire pit and a bocce ball court.

Guestrooms. Ornamented in Tuscan style d�cor, the 158 guestrooms of the Meritage Resort at Napa offer premium wood furnishings, hand painted detailing and accents in rich, earth toned hues. Patios, some with vineyard views, are graced by wicker furniture. Bathrooms include marble vanities, extendable magnifying mirrors, terry chenille bathrobes and designer toiletries. Amenities include 32 inch plasma screen televisions, CD and DVD players and wireless Internet access for a fee.

Expert Tip. Guests of the Meritage Resort at Napa are treated to a complimentary bottle of wine per guestroom at check in.

Turn left on Bordeaux Way.

From Oakland International Airport:
Approximate distance to the hotel is 47 miles.

Take 880 N to I 80 East.
Take I 80 East toward Sacramento across the Carquinez Bridge.
Take Marine World Parkway/Highway 37 exit.
Turn right onto Highway 29 North.
Stay to the right on Highway 29 after major intersection of Napa/Vallejo Highway 29 and Highway 12.
Stay in the far right lane turn off at next traffic light, following sign to Downtown Napa/Lake Berryessa.
At first light, turn left onto Napa Valley Corporate Way.
Turn left on Bordeaux Way and follow it around.
The hotel is located on the left.
