Location. El Castellano hotel is located two blocks from the cathedral in the historic center of Merida, Mexico. The hotel stands near the Museum of Anthropology and History, city hall and the Casa Montejo.
Hotel Features. This Mexican colonial style hotel features a lobby bar, a restaurant that serves international cuisine, and a second restaurant that prepares regional dishes. A business center offers fax, photocopy and print services. Five function rooms accommodate up to 200 people. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool with a sundeck. Massage services are available on request and feature traditional Mayan treatments and aromatherapies. Laundry services and car rentals can be arranged at the front desk. Valet parking is complimentary.
Guestrooms. This hotel offers traditionally styled guestrooms equipped with Internet access. Balconies overlook the city of Merida. Rooms are decorated with dark tone wood and wrought iron furniture.
