The Mediterranean style architecture of Sandals Dunns River Golf and Spa Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, combines the best of open air design and attention to detail. The lobby's fountain, spiral wrought iron staircases, potted plants and overstuffed seating create a warm and inviting atmosphere, signaling the relaxation and luxury guests will enjoy during their stay.
Travelers arrive at the resort via the hotel's convenient and complimentary airport shuttle from Sangster/Montego Bay Airport. Guests are treated to a champagne breakfast buffet each morning before embarking on their activities for the day. Choices include basking in the sun or walking on the quarter mile of pristine beach, relaxing near the beautiful rock garden waterfall or in the grove of shade trees. Guests in the mood for adventure have complimentary access to the resort's non motorized water sports equipment, including catamarans, kayaks, sailboats, aqua trykes, windsurfers and glass bottomed boats. Tennis, basketball, volleyball and horseshoes are also available. Golfing, scuba diving and snorkeling are popular pursuits, and the necessary equipment and greens fees are part of the all inclusive package at the Dunn's River Resort. The resort's fitness facilities offer two pools, two saunas, two steam rooms, three whirlpool tubs and a full service spa with pampering treatments.
Food and entertainment have been cited as the main attractions at the Dunn's River Resort. An open air restaurant offers casual breakfast and lunch buffets, with stunning views of the ocean and pool. The International Room offers white glove service for romantic evenings, and Windies serves West Indian cuisine overlooking the waterfall. The beach grills also offer full table service. The resort's main pool features a 40 seat swim up bar and a wood sundeck encircles a two story open air pavilion sheltering a piano bar for nightly sing alongs.

Hurricane Guarantee:
In the unlikely event that hurricane force winds (as defined by the U.S. National Weather Service) directly hit the Sandals or Beaches resorts while you are a guest, interrupting the use of all the included activities, Sandals or Beaches Resorts will offer a free replacement vacation to be taken at any Sandals or Beaches Resort of your choice.
This replacement stay will be for the same duration as the one originally booked, regardless of how many days were affected by the hurricane. The replacement stay will be in an equivalent room category to the one originally booked, exclusive of air and will be subject to certain blackout dates.
This offer must be applied within one year from the date the hurricane directly hit the resort. This offer subject to change and can be withdrawn without notice. This offer supersedes all previously printed hurricane guarantee offers for Sandals. Blackout dates are defined as those deemed by Sandals Resorts to be not available for such stays.
