Situated in a quiet side street above the resort of Agia Galini, the modern Hotel Avra is a a 500 meter walk from the fishing harbor and port, and one kilometer from beautiful sand and shingle beaches. Rethymnon town, with its fortress, is 52 kilometers away. The 25 guestrooms have balconies and are furnished in a country style with rustic dark wooden furniture.
