A modern hotel located on La Croisette, overlooking the Bay of Cannes, the Palais Stephanie by Sofitel lies 500 metres from the cafes and boutiques of Rue d'Antibes. This six floor hotel features 234 air conditioned guestrooms, all of which offer sea, city or garden views and include high speed Internet connections, satellite television, tea and coffee making facilities and safes. Bathrooms come with marble baths and hair dryers.
The heated rooftop pool is surrounded by loungers and offers panoramic views over the Bay of Cannes, the Lerins Islands and the Esterel Mountains. There are also two hot tubs and a juice and snack bar adjacent to the pool. The pool is open from April to September. Guests can also head for the famous sandy La Croisette beach, where there is another snack bar and a fireworks display held in the summer. More active guests can make use of complimentary access to the 24 hour fitness centre, which contains body building benches, exercise bikes and cardio training equipment. Dining options include La Scala, a typically Proven�al restaurant with terrace seating and views of Cannes, set on the first floor of the hotel, and Le Grand Bleu, a modern bar with serving cocktails, pasta, tapas and snacks throughout the day. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby, where staff at the 24 hour front desk can book excursions and provide information on local attractions. There are numerous opportunities for water sports along La Croisette, including jet skiing, water skiing and scuba diving, all within two kilometres. The nearest golf course is also two kilometres from the hotel. Nice Airport is 30 kilometres away, around 30 minutes by car.

Buses and taxis are readily available. The regular bus service costs around 13 EUR and a taxi will cost approximately 60 EUR. Cannes is efficiently serviced by buses and taxis, but can be explored comfortably on foot.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow signs for the A8 Cannes. Once on the motorway, follow the signs for Cannes Centre. Having followed the directions off the A8, follow the signs for Centre Croisette. The hotel is located at Number 50.
