Location. Adjacent to the entrance of Quebec City, the Hotel Sepia overlooks the St. Lawrence River and is located five kilometers from Old Quebec, a historic French district featuring old fortresses, battlefields, and homes that look like something out of a storybook. Also within this district is the Chateau Fronteau, a historic castle style hotel, and the Notre Dame de Quebec Cathedral, among the first built in all Canada. Hotel Sepia provides complimentary shuttle service to Old Quebec. Within two kilometers of the hotel are Place Laurier and Place Sainte Foy, two of the largest shopping centers in Quebec. Next to that is Laval University.
Hotel Features. The Hotel Sepia offers a menu of gourmet selections and regional fare at Restaurant la Galopin, which also serves a daily breakfast buffet and Sunday brunch. Recreations on site include an outdoor heated pool. Other hotel amenities include a business center and express check out.
Guestrooms. All 81 guestrooms feature contemporary, Art Deco design with wood furnishings and leather armchairs. Beds have plush white duvets. Desks include ergonomic chairs. Some bathrooms feature garden tubs and offer complimentary toiletries. Guestrooms also include complimentary wireless Internet access, coffee/tea makers, refrigerators, blackout drapes, and cable/satellite television.
Expert Tip. Within walking distance of the hotel is Aquarium du Quebec, home to more than 3,500 specimens of mammals including Polar bears and seals fish, reptiles and underwater plants indigenous to the Arctic and North America. The "Large Ocean" is a large basin offering view from underneath.
